NATIONAL
CHRISTIAN LIFETIME AWARDS (NCLA)
In 2008, for the first time in Jamaica, the NCLA Council, which
was established in March 2008 embarked on its mandate to honour Matriarchs
and Patriarchs in the Christian faith, who have given extended years of
dedicated service to our nation. The inaugural function was a great
success and the Council, in collaboration with the NCLA Executive Board, is
in the process of planning the 2009 ceremony.
It is our intention to honour at least fifteen (15) persons each
year. Your involvement is key in making this year’s ceremony a
memorable one. We will need your assistance in the selection process of
the nominees and as such we invite you to nominate at least two (2)
individuals from your organization/denomination/fraternal.
These two (2) individuals should meet the following criteria in order to
qualify for the award:
1.
Have been involved in ministry for more
than forty (40) years.
2.
Because of their ministry, a profound
impact has been made on the Body of Christ, at large.
3.
Are examples of those who are indeed Christians,
not in word only, but also in character and lifestyle.
4.
Have dedicated their life to promoting the
cause and forwarding the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
5.
Will leave a legacy that reaches farther
than just their local assembly, but is “noised abroad”.
6.
Have made substantial contributions
to their community, parish, and the nation of Jamaica.
7.
Because of their ministry, souls have come
to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
Please note that the selection of the individuals should
not be limited necessarily to those who have served in the highest office in
your organization and may very well be a Sunday/Sabbath School teacher, or
any other “ordinary” Christian worker who meet the criteria.

may be copied). Please complete and return same to us.
